The Elizabeth Scott Community is an Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing facility located in Maumee, Ohio.

The Elizabeth Scott Community remains as one of the few assisted living and long-term care facilities in the area to be family owned and operated. Family ownership sets us apart from those facilities owned by large corporations. The loving care and attention of our owners extends to staff members who are hardworking, professional, and loving. In addition, our three levels of care -- Assisted Livin

g Level I, Assisted Living Level II, and Long-Term Care -- allows us to meet the changing needs of elderly residents on a single campus.

Our residents recently helped prepare fresh, locally grown sweet corn for a meal. They did the shucking, our kitchen handled the rest, and then the whole community got to enjoy the delicious results! 🌽

We love creating opportunities for our residents to be involved in the everyday moments that make our community feel like home.

Our community garden is a pretty special place. Residents can have their own garden plots, while our activity team works alongside them to grow things everyone can enjoy.

This year, some of those homegrown chives made their way onto our loaded baked potatoes at lunch! There’s something pretty rewarding about growing something yourself—and then getting to enjoy the results.

Alice has been a dedicated member of the Elizabeth Scott community for 14 years. She was inspired to pursue a career in senior living because of her passion for helping others and making a positive difference in their lives.

Employee Spotlight- Mia, Dietary Assistant

Mia has been a valued member of the Elizabeth Scott community for three years. She was inspired to pursue a career in senior living after spending time with her great-grandmother while she lived in a senior living community, which helped shape her passion for serving older adults.
