Our office will be closed Thursday 1-23-25 due to dangerous traveling conditions. We will continue to monitor conditions for travel before we decide if we will reopen Friday.

We are looking to hire an experienced LPN

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of Dr. Kerry Schexnaider.

Responsibilities

Taking vital signs
Recording medical history and current symptoms
Administering IM injections
Performing EKGs
Perform wound care, including suturing removals when necessary
Apply physiology knowledge to assess and monitor patient conditions
Accurately documenting patient information in EHR
Providing instructions on medication usage and self-care practices
Assist with medication reconciliation
Perform administrative task as needed
Requirements

Possess a valid LPN license in the state of practice
Possess 5 years or more of experience as a licensed Practical Nurse.
Proficient in triage
Familiarity with Internal Medicine is a plus
Ability to perform suture removals when required
Strong understanding of physical examinations
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Hope you all are having a happy Monday.
Please be advised that Dr. Schexnaider will be out of the office Starting June 25th through July 5th. He will resume clinic on July 8th.
Our staff will periodically check voicemails and assist with any questions or concerns to the best of their ability. They will also be taking any messages for Dr. Schexnaider to review when he returns to the office.
Our Lab will be closed June 25th through June 28th and will reopen on July 1st though the 3rd.
Lab will close again for the 4th of July Holliday weekend.

Job duties include but are not limited to,
Checking in and checking patients out, verifying insurances, collect copays and deductibles, answering phones, checking and sorting through faxes and paperwork, triaging patients(vital signs and obtaining a detailed medical history.), EKG’s, giving IM injections, prior authorizations, scheduling ordered imaging and procedures, medicine refills, ABI's, UA's, etc.
Experience in Primary Care or Internal Medicine Preferred.

We are excited to announce Labcorp has joined our team. Labs can be drawn at our office for any ordering providers. The Lab is open from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday - Thursday and 7:00A.M. to 11:00A.M. on Fridays.
