National Nursing Home Week may be over, but the joy, laughter, creativity, and connections shared across our communities are something we’ll carry with us long after the celebrations end. 💙

From themed events and special activities to meaningful conversations and everyday moments together, this week was a reminder of what makes our communities so special, the residents, families, and team members who help create a place where people feel supported, welcomed, and cared for.

To every team member who spent countless hours planning, decorating, organizing, encouraging smiles, and making each moment meaningful: thank you. Your compassion, patience, and dedication do not go unnoticed. And to our residents, thank you for allowing us to celebrate alongside you and be part of your stories.

Community is at the heart of everything we do, and weeks like this are a reflection of the care, connection, and teamwork happening every day across our locations.

Words like these mean so much to all of us at Certus. Nellie shared that the staff is “very good,” that she is “very excited for therapy,” and that she had already heard great things about Beckett House before even arriving.

That kind of trust matters. At Beckett House, and across Certus Healthcare, our teams work hard to create places where residents feel supported, cared for, and confident in the people around them. We’re proud to see that reflected in Nellie’s experience and grateful to the Beckett team for the care they continue to provide every day.

Welcome to Beckett House Healthcare & Rehabilitation.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Muskingum County in New Concord, Ohio, Beckett House is a Certus Healthcare community that offers scenic views, a recently renovated space, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents and families.

As an 85-bed facility with private and semi-private rooms, Beckett House was thoughtfully designed to bring people together. Its central gathering space near the dining room encourages conversation, connection, and everyday community, all within a comfortable small-town setting.

We love having the opportunity to share a closer look at communities like Beckett House and the environment they create for those who call it home.

Easter weekend brought so much joy across our communities. 🐰🌷

From Easter egg hunts and brunches to bunny visits and time spent together, it was so special to see residents, families, team members, and local communities come together to celebrate. Each celebration looked a little different, but all of them were filled with fun, laughter, and so much heart.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the weekend so memorable across our Certus communities.

Students from Niles City School District Middle School handmade spring cards for the residents at Niles Way Senior Living, and the kindness behind each one made the day extra special. JoAnn especially loved hers and shared that she will “treasure it.”

We’re grateful for moments like these that bring generations together and remind us how meaningful simple acts of kindness can be.
