Getting ready for your first infusion treatment? It’s totally normal to feel a little unsure—but a little prep can go a long way 💙

Here’s a quick checklist to help you feel more comfortable and confident 👇
✔️ Hydrate + eat beforehand
Going in well-hydrated with stable blood sugar can help your body better tolerate treatment and avoid feeling sluggish or nauseous

✔️ Dress comfortably
Think cozy, relaxed, and easy access for your IV

✔️ Ask questions ahead of time
Your care team is there to make sure you feel informed and at ease every step of the way

✔️ Plan for a calm, supported experience
You’ll have your own private suite with a flat-screen TV, high-speed WiFi, comfortable recliner, and space for a guest—so you can truly relax during treatment

✔️ Feel confident in your care
A trained and licensed physician is on-site during every infusion, so you can rest easy knowing you’re in capable hands

If you have Primary Immunodeficiency (PI), your body may not have the antibodies it needs to fight off infections.
That’s where infusion therapy can make a real difference 👇

Infusion therapy (often called immunoglobulin or IVIG therapy) works by replacing the antibodies your body is missing—giving your immune system the support it needs to better fight infections and stay stronger over time.

For many people with PI, this can mean:
✔️ Fewer or less severe infections
✔️ More energy and fewer sick days
✔️ Improved quality of life

It’s not about “fixing” the condition—but helping your body function the way it’s meant to, with the support it needs.
At Ohio Infusion Services, the goal is to make treatment as comfortable, convenient, and personalized as possible—so you can focus on feeling better, not just managing symptoms.
