When children explore food through touch, smell, sight, and taste without the pressure to actually eat, they’re building important skills and confidence around food! Sensory play can help children:

- Develop stronger sensory processing skills
- Explore and fine-tune their senses
- Become more comfortable with non-preferred foods
- Gain hands-on experience with food preparation
- Reduce pressure around eating and build confidence at their own pace
