June is Men’s Mental Health Month! 💙

Healing happens in community. Today, the women in our cultural group at Chi Hullo Li, used their voices to share facts, encouragement, and reminders that men deserve support too.

Because breaking stigma isn’t just an individual effort—it’s a community one.

Women supporting men’s mental health is part of the change.

Together, we can create space for men to be seen, heard, and supported—because every message counts.

🚨 Emerging Drug Threat Alert 🚨
A dangerous synthetic opioid called cychlorphine has been identified across multiple U.S. regions and linked to overdose deaths nationwide.

This substance may be significantly more potent than fentanyl and may not appear on routine drug screens.

Please help us protect our communities by staying informed, carrying naloxone if available, and seeking immediate medical care for any suspected overdose. Please note we have Narcan drives taking place this month throughout the reservation.

Prevention starts with awareness. 💙

Parents and caregivers — awareness matters now more than ever.

Many dangerous substances marketed as “legal,” “natural,” or “store-bought” are becoming increasingly accessible to teens through gas stations, convenience stores, v**e shops, and online retailers.

Products containing substances such as kratom, 7-OH, Amanita muscaria, and tianeptine can carry serious health risks and may be misleadingly packaged to appear harmless.

💬 Start conversations early
👀 Stay aware of unfamiliar products and packaging
❤️ Keep communication open and judgment-free

Connection and education remain some of the strongest forms of prevention.

Today, Choctaw Nation Behavioral Health is partnering with Love Fostering Hope and a foster parent group to provide education on emerging drug trends and Narcan training.

Knowledge saves lives. By helping caregivers, parents, and community members recognize warning signs and respond to overdoses, we strengthen the safety net surrounding our youth and families. Would you or someone you know benefit from our training opportunities? Feel free to reach out for more information.

Thank you to all who continue showing up, learning, and advocating for healthier futures for our communities.

✨ Prevention through education. Hope through connection.
