Hi everyone, I wanted to share something close to what we do at ZDM Fire and Safety.

Most people think CPR training is only for healthcare workers, but emergencies usually happen around regular people first.

At home.
At church.
At work.
At school events.
At the gym.
At family gatherings.

The person nearby may be a parent, teacher, coach, coworker, spouse, grandparent, or friend.

That is why knowing CPR, AED use, and basic First Aid matters. It gives regular people a clearer idea of what to do in those first few moments while help is on the way.

For non-healthcare groups, Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid is a great option because it is built for everyday people who want to be better prepared.

ZDM Fire and Safety is based in McAllen and serves the Rio Grande Valley. We are also a mobile training unit for groups of 4 or more, so we can come to your workplace, church, school group, office, nonprofit, or community organization.

The goal is simple: help more local families and teams feel prepared before an emergency happens.

The little details are what make a class feel organized.

For The BLS Experience, students will receive an Event Passport when they arrive.

The passport gives students a simple way to move through the day:

Train hands-on.
Visit 3 participating businesses during break.
Ask each business to initial the card.
Return it to the ZDM table for the giveaway entry.

This does not replace the course requirements. It adds a local, memorable layer to the experience.

Professional training comes first.

The passport helps make the day feel organized, connected, and different from a regular class.
