Since 2000, we have filled our professional careers with moments that we have shared with the families whose lives have touched us. We have seen our patients

grow and reach milestones when others said it couldn’t be done. We have had many of our patients for years, and their success has become a part of what makes our practice so special. Our practice is not a business, it is an environment made richer by the children in it. We take our patients very seriously, but we make our approach fun and educational which benefits both parent and child. We know progress, but we measure it according to who your child is and not by set standards of where he/she should be. Helping children with autism is our passion, and we would like to share it with you."

This week the kids enjoyed making berry shortcake, a perfect summertime snack! While it may not have been everyone’s favorite treat to eat, it provided so many wonderful learning opportunities throughout the activity.

From following directions and sequencing steps to measuring ingredients, requesting items, describing textures, and practicing fine motor skills, there were countless opportunities to work on both OT and ST goals. Most importantly, the kids had fun exploring, creating and trying something new!

We love finding creative ways to make learning meaningful, hands on and delicious.

Happy Father’s Day to all of our amazing Mindworks dads! 💙

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who show up day after day with love, patience, strength, and support for their children.
This week, our Mindworks kids had so much fun creating special Father’s Day crafts to celebrate the incredible dads in their lives. They worked hard on their projects and were excited to make something from the heart just for you.
Thank you for being your children’s advocates, role models, and biggest supporters. We see you, we appreciate you, and today we celebrate you.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone as we say goodbye to our dear friend and teammate, Sammy.

For the past five years, Sammy has been a valued member of the MindWorks family. It has been a privilege to watch him grow in confidence, develop new skills, and bring his positive attitude, dedication, and smile to our clinic each day.

Sammy, thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. We are so proud of everything you have accomplished and can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes you.
