We are proud to celebrate Dr. Kevin Burningham on his acceptance into the Dermatopathology Fellowship at Boston University, beginning July 2028.

Dr. Burningham has demonstrated a passion for the clinicopathologic intersection of our specialty. We are thrilled to see him continue his training in dermatopathology at the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University, under the leadership of Program Director Dr. Rosalynn Nazarian.

This is a tremendous accomplishment and a well-deserved next step in Dr. Burningham’s career. We are incredibly proud of all he has accomplished during residency and look forward to following his continued growth and success in dermatopathology.

Congratulations, Kevin! We are excited to see all that lies ahead.

We are grateful to share that our Board Certified Dermatologist and Dermatology Residency Program Director, Dr. Rick Lin, was recently recognized with the Distinguished Alumni Award at the UNT Health Science Center Presidential Awards on April 21, 2026. This honor reflects his steady commitment to our learners, patients, and colleagues, and the many quiet ways he has strengthened our program over the years.

Dr. Lin consistently leads by example through his humility, integrity, and dedication to high‑quality, patient‑centered care. We are thankful for his guidance and the support he provides to residents, faculty, and staff, and we celebrate this recognition alongside the UNT Health community.

Our team recently managed a giant acquired digital fibrokeratoma (ADFK)—a usually small, benign lesion that surprised us with its size and unusual plantar location.

A great reminder that even “routine” diagnoses can show up in unexpected ways. Proud of our residents and providers for staying sharp and delivering excellent care every step of the way 💪
