John "Dub" W. Stafford

John W. “Dub” Stafford, 90, a resident of McComb, MS passed away on June 22, 2026 at Walthall General Hospital.

He was born on October 22, 1935 to the late Earl B. Stafford and Dixie Stafford.

Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb will be in charge of arrangements.

Dub was a very active man and a hard worker. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting. He was a Christian man. Dub was an active member of New Beginnings of Thomas, LA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He never met a stranger! He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by parents, one brother, Jay Stafford, one sister, Mary Bankston, grandson, Steven Stafford and one daughter, Barbara Martin and one great-granddaughter, Madison Nicholson.

He is survived by his wife of fifty six happy years, Joyce Keating Stafford, three daughters, Judy Crain, Cathie Duhon (Wilbert), and Teresa Richardson (Stanley), one son, John E. Stafford (Michelle), two brothers Loyd E. Stafford (Nancy) and Tim Stafford, one sister Linda Hartzog (Ronnie), eight grandchildren, Michelle (Gary), Cynthia (Wade), Krystal, Jonathan, Jason (Natalia), Amy (Justin), Kammie, Rebecca and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. There are also special friends, Bobby and Vickie Ginn and Bro. Keith Branch.

William "Brad" Bradley Webb

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brad Webb—a devoted husband and father, an exceptional critical care nurse, an avid outdoorsman, and a man who lived with courage, kindness, and a heart for serving others. Brad was born on May 30, 1974, in McComb, Mississippi, and passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home in Pine Grove, Louisiana.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Lynn Bennett Webb; son, Cambre Webb; mother, Margaret Ann Cooksey Webb; sister Janie Oncale (Barry); mother-in-law, Mary Lou Boudreaux Bennett; special friend, Dr. Arvind Yertha; nieces and nephews, Amy, Colby, Caroline, and many others who lovingly referred to him as “Uncle Rad” ; as well as a great-niece, Jolie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred H. “Billy” Webb; sister, Rebecca Bourne; father-in-law, Carl Malcolm Bennett, Jr.; and brother-in-law, James Rawls Bennett.

Brad lived life fearlessly and met every challenge with quiet strength and determination. As a critical care nurse, he dedicated his life to caring for people during some of their hardest moments. With his steady presence, skilled hands, and compassionate heart, he saved countless lives and brought comfort to patients and families when they needed it most. Nursing was more than a job to Brad—it was part of who he was. He cared deeply for others and gave of himself wholeheartedly, never asking for recognition in return. When he wasn’t at the hospital, Brad was happiest outdoors. An avid bowhunter and fisherman, he found peace in God’s creation—on the water, high in the mountains, and surrounded by the beauty and solitude of the wilderness. Some of his favorite adventures were hunting in Colorado and Alaska, places he loved deeply and where he made memories that will forever be cherished by those who shared those experiences with him. More than anything, Brad loved his family and friends. His greatest pride and joy were his wife and son. He was a devoted husband whose love and loyalty never wavered and a proud father who loved his son beyond measure. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, his memory will live on in every life he saved, every mountain sunrise, every cast upon the water, and most importantly, in the hearts of his beloved wife, son, family, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with a graveside service beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Martha T. Wall

Martha Tigner Wall, 83, was born on October 21, 1942, in Lynn, Alabama to Josie Allen and Lawson Tigner. She passed on June 18, 2026, in her home in Osyka.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Osyka Cemetery at 10:30 AM. Rev. Jacob Williams will officiate. Hartman Jones Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Martha was a faithful daughter that took care of her invalid mother until her mother passed. On January 22, 1972, in Kentwood, LA, she married the love of her life, Dennis Ray Wall; together they migrated to Osyka and created “Wall Hill”. This was their peace of Heaven on earth. They stayed devoted to each other for some 51 years and raised a large family on Wall Hill. Martha worked in the public for most of her life and enjoyed serving her customers in all of her jobs. She retired from First Bank in 2015 to come home and take care of her husband and family.

Martha was always a family first woman. She was a God-fearing woman who loved her family with all of her being. Being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was her joy in this life. She anticipated her daily phone call of each of her five daughters. If she didn’t get it, she would check their location and call to see where they were located and just why they had not called. For her daughters, “Going to Mama’s house was always special”.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dennis Ray Wall; three sister Betty L. Blades, who was her twin sister, Faye Price, and Ozell Pendley; and two brothers John and Bill.

Cherishing her memories always will be her 5 daughters: Connie Wall, Sherri Wall, the “twins” Karen Wall and Sharon Wall (Tony) and Sierra Wall; nine grandchildren Earl Reed (Ashley), Zachary Wall, Devin Wall, Toni Wall, Haylie Wall, Dylan Wall, Kobe Wall, and A’Yanna Perkins; Nine great-grandchildren Ashton, Alan, Raylon, Amia, Elle, Messiah, Collin, Leilani, and Londyn. Martha also leaves a bonus daughter, Crystal Ott Jordan and a host of nieces and nephews.

Daniel Nolan Fortenberry

Daniel Nolan Fortenberry, 51, of Osyka, Mississippi, passed away on June 13, 2026, at SWRMC in McComb, MS. Born on August 27, 1974, in McComb, MS, Daniel spent his life surrounded by the community and family he cherished deeply. Daniel was a devoted husband to Kendra Fortenberry, with whom he shared twenty-four years of marriage. He often said that Kendra was the one who saved him, and their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a life filled with love and joy, raising their two sons, Joseph and Brady Fortenberry. Daniel’s boys were his pride and joy; he was a loving and kind father who found immense happiness in watching them grow. He loved his dogs, especially his two girls. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend whom will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents JF and Charlotte Fortenberry and one sister Lori Fortenberry.

Family was at the heart of Daniel’s life. He is survived by his wife Kendra Fortenberry, two sons Joseph and Brady Fortenberry; mother Beverly Lohr (Chuck); brothers Tim Fortenberry (Erma), Derek Lohr, and Jeffery Fortenberry (Jane); sisters Charlotte and Amy Lohr; brother-in-law Josh Poole (Kelsey); mother-in-law Becky Poole; father-in-law Buddy Poole (Cindy). He also leaves behind many nieces; Ava, Josee, Mena, Bella, Kiley, Kinsey, and Avani; nephews Jase, Aiden, Jay, Clay, Mason, PJ, and Riley. Daniel was blessed with friends who were more like brothers to him Wade Davis (Tasha) and Shannon Mulligan (Vicky); and a host of more relatives and friends.

Daniel’s warmth and kindness left an unforgettable mark on all who knew him. His loveable nature made him a cherished presence in the lives of family and friends alike. His legacy of love will live on through those who had the privilege of knowing him. May Daniel’s memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

Margaret Turnage

Margaret Louise “Bean” Turnage, 96, a resident of Fernwood, MS passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026 at Camellia Estates in McComb.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 19, 2026 at Reeves Cemetery in Summit, MS at 11 AM with the Rev. Trent Moak officiating. Hartman Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Louise was born on April 21, 1930 in Franklinton, Washington Parrish, LA. She is the daughter of the late, Jessie Edward Toney and Charlotte “Lottie” Wood.

Louise worked various jobs during her long life but her favorite was at Croft Metals Company. Her great love was for her loving husband Lester “Buster” Turnage and their only child Tony “Mike” Mikell Turnage. She dearly loved cooking and taking care of them and their home. Even up to the age of 94, she would work her Fernwood neighborhood, work in her yard, and clean her home. She was a loving wife, mother, friend and a very active Christian woman in Fernwood Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and studied his teachings and is now resting in his presence.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Buster Turnage; her only child Mike Turnage; her three brothers L.E. Toney, John Ellis Toney, and Angus Toney; and her sisters Genevieve Koch of Tylertown and Lucille Grace.

Louise is survived by her loving friend of 30 plus years and caregiver James Harris of Summit; her brother Harlon Toney; two sisters Agnes Smith and Elnora Melear; one brother-in-law Tommie Turnage (Patsy); along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Previous office experience is appreciated but not required. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job duties will include answering phones, greeting families and visitors, filing various paperwork, scheduling, assisting with office tasks, and helping with the daily operations of the office.
