🚨 SCAM ALERT: Be Aware of Medicare Fraud Calls 🚨
Scammers are spoofing Fulton County Medical Center phone numbers and calling individuals, posing as representatives who need to "verify" Medicare insurance information.
⚠️ Remember: Medicare will never call you unexpectedly to ask for personal information, Medicare numbers, Social Security numbers, banking information, or payment.
To protect yourself:
✅ Never provide personal or financial information over the phone to an unsolicited caller.
✅ Hang up if something doesn't seem right.
✅ Verify requests by contacting Medicare directly at 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).
✅ Be especially cautious during Medicare Open Enrollment, which runs from October 15 through December 7.
