Guilt-Free Banana Smoothie
Cutting refined sugar from your diet can be challenging. Especially during the spring and summer months, we find ourselves craving things like ice cream, frappes, and smoothies. This recipe is the perfect way to combat those cravings. The natural sweetness of the bananas combined with the creaminess of canned coconut milk give this smoothie the consistency of a milkshake without the guilt.

Ingredients:
1 sliced, frozen banana
¼ c. Unsweetened canned coconut milk
1 c. Unsweetened refrigerated coconut milk (We like the Silk brand)
1 Tbs. Sunbutter, peanut butter, or almond butter
A dash of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions: Blend the ingredients in a blender. Pour and serve! Super easy post-workout treat or a great breakfast on the go. Top with chopped dates if you prefer a little extra sweetness

Tip #3: Get in the hotel swimming pool even if it feels inhumanly cold. You’ll get used to it, and the cold reduces inflammation. Try some pool walking to loosen those muscles after sitting in a car for so long.

Tip #2: Protect your sleep.
Bring a comfortable pillow that keeps your neck in a neutral position.
Bring earbuds or earplugs.
If the hotel has a fire alarm go off three times in the middle of the night, cross that one off your list for the future.
