We see it often. Kids get a “perfect” eye exam with 20/20 clarity. They don’t need glasses. Everything seems fine.

Most people think that 20/20 is "perfect vision.”

20/20 is simply a measurement of what someone is able to see at a distance of 20 feet.

Most of our learning is through reading, which is not at 20 feet at all!

Vision skills impact learning and academic success. If your child has “passed” their eye exam with “20/20” vision but is still struggling in school…it’s time to take a deeper look.

Vision problems can often be misdiagnosed as learning disabilities.

It’s important to get a full picture of what might really be going on beneath the surface of the symptoms that show up in a learning disability.

For example, 12 of the 18 different markers for dyslexia are treatable learning-related VISION problems.

If your child has been diagnosed with a learning disability or difference, it’s worth a deeper look to learn how to support them more effectively.
