Summer Safety Starts with You!
As temperatures rise and summer activities begin, remember to take a few simple steps to protect your health and well-being:
* Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
* Wear a hat and sunglasses when spending time outdoors.
* Limit prolonged exposure to extreme heat, especially during peak afternoon hours.
* Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning when exercising or working outside.
* Eat nutritious foods and stay mindful of signs of dehydration, including dizziness, headache, and fatigue.
A little prevention goes a long way toward a safe and healthy summer. Enjoy the sunshine, stay active, and take care of yourself and those around you!
