Healing takes time, and every step of that path matters. One person's healing journey can look completely different from another's or share many similarities. It is important to not rush yourself on your own course or compare yourself to how others have handled themselves.

Some people may take only a couple weeks or months to work through their emotions and feelings, whereas someone else might take several months to years. Each person's journey is important and vital to working towards a new future; they just may look vastly different to everyone.
