On National Food Pantry day my ladies made some family meals to donate to Overflow Churches freezers for their food chain. The church provides meals to families when they need one for various reasons. Nothing makes a life worth living more than having purpose and our residents loved getting back in the kitchen and giving back.

With record high temps we had to make a shift on National Picnic Day and eat inside but we are blessed to always have the Lake right behind us. We had a time of eating traditional picnic food but the fellowship was what made this activity so special. We shared some long ago memories and some hearty laughs over the things that make a day in our life memorable. When we look back on special days like weddings, first jobs or vacations it isn’t the perfect moments but the ones that go awry that make them our special day and the story that we remember, share and laugh about for years to come. ❤️🧺

I’m late in posting these but on Lemonade Day we built our very own stand and served Sunshine Lemonade. Fresh lemonade with a splash of Sprite and orange juice. It was a hot Summer Day delight.
