Do you need supplements? Here's the truth: not everyone needs a cabinet full of them.
Supplements should fill nutritional gaps โ they're not a replacement for healthy habits like solid nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management. Too often, they get marketed as a shortcut around the fundamentals instead of a support for them.
The right recommendation for you depends on your medical history, current medications, and lab results โ not what's trending on social media this month. That's why at Phoenix Medical Spa, we focus on individualized care rather than trendy products.
Before we ever recommend anything, we're looking at whether you actually have a deficiency or a specific clinical need a supplement would address. Vitamin D, B12, iron, magnesium โ these can matter enormously for the right patient with the right labs. But taking something "just in case," with no indication you actually need it, isn't wellness โ it's guesswork. In some cases, unnecessary supplementation can even interact with medications you're already on.
This is another place physician-led care changes the outcome. A coach or influencer can recommend a supplement stack because it looked good in a post. A physician evaluates your actual bloodwork and history, and builds a recommendation around what your body is truly missing โ nothing more, nothing less.
If you've got a cabinet full of supplements and you're not sure any of them are doing anything for you, that's a great conversation to have with us.
If you do need a supplement based on a deficiency, Phoenix Medical Spa provides supplement packages through Fullscript.
