One of our very own VHP team members, Mariah Stevenson served for 2 years, in the Army. Below is her experience:

“I was in the Army from 2016 to 2018. For me, which may sound crazy, my best memory was basic training. I was able to push myself past every limitation I thought I had while building lifetime bonds with people that I never even met. The experience was just so fulfilling seeing myself go from a high school cheerleader to a soldier in a matter of months; it gave me a different form of confidence in myself that I never thought I had.”
