Meet the Team at The Desired Journey

Finding the right therapist is about more than credentials—it's about finding someone you feel comfortable with.

Over the next few weeks, we're introducing the incredible clinicians who make up The Desired Journey. Each therapist brings their own personality, specialties, and approach to therapy, allowing us to connect clients with someone who truly fits their needs.

Every journey has a beginning.

The Desired Journey was born around a kitchen table in July 2023, where Dr. Stephens sat with her dad and her beloved Poppi dreaming about what a counseling practice rooted in compassion, connection, and hope could become. During those conversations, the name The Desired Journey came to life.

Since then, Dr. Stephens' dad has passed away from colon cancer, making the mission behind our practice even more meaningful. His legacy and the love and wisdom shared around that kitchen table - continues to guide us every day.

Today, we're proud to call McKinney home and grateful for every client, family, and referral partner who has trusted us to be part of their journey. Thank you for being part of ours. 💜
