I want to share an update about our dear Christy Bellman. We were waiting to share until we had more specifics. Christy has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Today she will undergo surgery to have it removed. The family has asked for everyone who knows and loves her to pray throughout the day for her, the medical team and her family. If you would like updates on her or to send her get well wishes, I am sharing her Caring Bridge link which her good friend has set up. The family is using this as a way to communicate updates on Christy, their needs and prayer requests. If you would like to send a note or card to her, you can drop those at the office and we will get them delivered to her. Please be patient with the whole office as we are missing her and awaiting word on a successful surgery. Whether you are a praying person or not, please join us in sending healing and love and comfort throughout today.

Over the last month there's been a lot happening here. First, Kristin O'Neill left to pursue other opportunities. We wish her the best and she will be missed! We have 2 new faces at the front desk-Fey and Ashley. We hope you'll make them feel welcome as they are working hard to learn their new positions.

The biggest concern on everyone's mind has been Christine Bellman. Many of you have been asking about her and when she will return. I wanted to give an update. She has had some health concerns and is recovering from a procedure. She is recovering well and is feeling better. She has started physical therapy and is working hard to recover. We will get an update soon as she has a post-op appointment this week. We're not sure yet when she can return to work. We all miss her terribly and I know all of her patients do also. Please send good thoughts to her for a speedy recovery and good report at her follow up visit this week. Keep her and her sweet family in your prayers. We will update you as soon as we know when she can return.

I will be out of the office next week, but in touch and checking in frequently. Please be kind as we are short staffed and training new employees. As always, we are blessed to have the opportunity to take care of our wonderful patients.

In Memory of Dr. Rhonda D. Hopkins

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Rhonda D. Hopkins after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Dr. Hopkins was a valued colleague and a dedicated physician who cared deeply for her patients. Her warmth, resilience, and compassion left a meaningful impact on those who knew her and on the lives she touched throughout her years of service.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who mourn her loss. Her legacy will be remembered with gratitude and respect.

We woke up to the world being one way, and now the sun will set on a world that is completely different. Today, we lost a great warrior. Dr. Rhonda Delane Hopkins rode her horse into the sunset, in perfect Western form, and leapt over Heaven’s gate, even though Saint Peter was more than ready to open it for her. She rode her horse, and jumped over the gate because she could, and perhaps someone, somewhere had told her she couldn’t. That is the Rhonda we all knew and loved. Rest in Peace.

My college kids are enjoying this snow and last hurrah before the new semester. My daughter and her friends built this lovely huge snow man this morning. You’re never too old to play in the snow.
