Back in the day we had more time to train for things like Spartan races. These days are different- ubering kids to all the places, working, trying to age gracefully, making time for our husbands and everything else life involves. Some days walking with Jesus is the most activity I get. Life has seasons and this is one of those busy ones. I tell my patients when life gets busy, give yourself grace in the areas that have to change in order to keep the balance to the other 10 areas you're juggling. Just keep moving forward, however slowly it may be. ❤️

It's easy to see everyone's highlight reels and think no one else struggles, but trust me- we all do. I'm learning what it means to abide in this season, resting in the one who knows me inside and out and trust in God's promises.
