🐾Dog of the Week: Meet Canyon!🐾

As part of our ongoing partnership with Collin County Animal Services, we're excited to introduce another adoptable pup looking for their forever home. This week's featured dog, Canyon, is available for adoption directly through the shelter.

Canyon is a 3-year-old German Shepherd who is the perfect combination of playful and affectionate. She enjoys spending time in the yard playing games with volunteers, especially when treats are involved, and she's just as happy to settle in for a cozy nap afterward. With her sweet personality and easygoing nature, Canyon would be a wonderful addition to almost any home.

Canyon is currently heartworm positive, but thanks to the incredible support of the nonprofit organization Adopt My Heart, her treatment is fully covered. Adopters are only responsible for a $50 deposit and Adopt My Heart covers the remaining treatment costs.

We hope Canyon's story reaches the person or family she's been waiting for. ❤️

Xavier came in for a nail trim but seemed much more interested in cuddle time with Page. 🐾💕

Today Copper came in for his neuter procedure and he stole our hearts by the time he left. 🐶💙

Just before this photo was taken, he reached over and grabbed Dr. Boone's hand, and we melted.

We are so happy to have Dr. Boone on our team and love seeing the connections she is building with her patients! 🐾

Less than a month ago, we launched our Welcome Home Visit program with Collin County Animal Services. Since then, we've had the pleasure of welcoming 10 newly adopted pets and their families through our doors. ❤️

We most recently met a handsome 7-year-old pup named Wrangler who found his forever home just two weeks ago. Look at those sweet eyes!

Included in each adoption packet is a Welcome Home Visit voucher for a complimentary exam at Stonebridge Family Vet. These visits give new pet parents a trusted resource as they adjust to life together. It's an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about their pet's needs, and feel supported from day one.

Thank you to Collin County Animal Services for partnering with us to support pets beyond adoption day. 🐾💙

🧬 Lucas’ DNA results are in! 🧬

About a month ago, Lucas stopped by for a little help with his DNA test. When his mom brought in the results, we couldn’t wait to see what was hiding in his family tree!

Let’s just say we didn’t have 31% Pug on our bingo card 😆

🐾 Dynamic duo status: unlocked. 🐾

A successful first day, happy patients, plenty of teamwork, and somehow we ended up taking prom photos and piggyback rides. 😆💙

All jokes aside, Dr. Boone and Dr. Smith are already building a wonderful partnership rooted in collaboration, compassion, and a shared commitment to personalized care.

We are excited for what lies ahead and grateful to have them both caring for the pets and families of our community. 🐾

🐾 Dog of the Week: Meet Kallie! 💗

We're excited to continue our partnership with Collin County Animal Services to help bring more visibility to adoptable pets through their rescue partner, Freemont's Furry Friends.

Just look at that head tilt! Kallie is a 3-year-old shepherd mix who is looking for her forever home. She gets along well with other dogs, walks great on a leash, and loves meeting new people. Whether she's playing with friends or relaxing after a busy day, Kallie is happy just being part of the fun.

Kallie is available for adoption through Fremont's Furry Friends. She is heartworm positive, but her treatment is fully covered through the wonderful non profit, Adopt My Heart. Her future family is only responsible for a $50 deposit, and the remainder of her treatment costs are covered.
