Donβt become toothless like Larry! Larry is brushing up on his healthy habits... are you? π
Did you know healthy smiles start long before a child's first trip to the dentist? The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends beginning oral care as soon as your baby's first tooth appears!
π¦· Larry's Top Smile Tips:
β¨ Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
β¨ Use a rice grain-sized smear of fluoride toothpaste from the first tooth until age 3.
β¨ Switch to a pea-sized amount at age 3 and older.
β¨ Help your child brush until they have the skills to do it well on their own (usually around ages 7β8).
β¨ Schedule a dental visit by age 1 or within 6 months of the first tooth.
A few minutes each day can help prevent cavities and keep those little smiles healthy for years to come! π
