Before and 2 months after voice feminization surgery (VFS). The first recording was done at our office while the second one was sent to us by our patient. The method used here is a combination of tensioning the vocal folds along with shortening them and most amazingly this is all done with no outside incisions. The cumulative effect is to thin down the vocal folds with a voice feminization and increase of the vocal pitch. We are always grateful to the patients who are willing to share their results! Cheekbone (or zygoma) reduction surgery before and after CBCT images. We are one of the few practices in the US to specialize in this elegant procedure with the aim of refining and feminizing the face. Sometimes a temporal lift or a deep plane facelift is performed in conjunction or after the cheekbone reduction. Looking back at the beautiful result from last week’s FFS. The rhinoplasty was challenging because the patient had had 2 traumas to the nose previously, both untreated. The septum was fractured and there was a very poor tip support, the left nasal cavity was almost completely obstructed by the deviated septum. We removed the fractured septum, restored tip support, rotation and projection and of course, we eliminated the dorsal hump. Now her nose is beautiful and functional. And all of this was done through a closed approach with any external incisions. Procedures performed were: Forehead contouring, browlift, hairline rounding, rhinoseptoplasty and a tracheal shave.
