Missing a tooth doesn’t always feel urgent, especially if it’s been that way for a while.

But over time, small changes can start to add up. Nearby teeth may shift, chewing can feel a little different, and the jawbone in that area can gradually change.

The good news is that options like dental implants can often help restore function and stability, even years later. A consultation is the best way to understand what’s possible for your specific situation.

If you've been thinking about options for your missing tooth, schedule a consultation to review your options.

Good oral health is a team effort.

Your general dentist and oral surgeon often work together behind the scenes to make sure you receive the right care at the right time. From wisdom teeth removal and dental implants to bone grafting and other surgical needs, this collaboration helps ensure treatment is safe, efficient, and personalized to you.

When your care team is aligned, your experience is smoother and your outcomes are stronger.

It’s all about coordinated care focused on one priority—you.

✨ Team Spotlight

This month, we're excited to introduce Jennifer, our Insurance Coordinator!

For the past 1.5 years, Jennifer has been dedicated to helping patients navigate the insurance process with confidence. She enjoys advocating for patients, helping them maximize their insurance benefits, and making what can often feel like a complicated process a little easier to understand. One of the most rewarding parts of her role is seeing persistence pay off when a patient receives the coverage they deserve.

Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring Pittsburgh's fine dining scene with her husband. She's also a proud cat mom and loves spending time with her kittens. 📚✈️🍽️🐱

We're so grateful to have Jennifer on our team and appreciate the care and dedication she brings to our patients every day.

Stay tuned as we continue introducing more of the incredible people behind our practice!

Many people notice wisdom teeth a bit more during the summer—not necessarily because anything new is happening, but because daily habits and routines can change.

Cold drinks, travel, and even changes in hydration can make existing irritation or sensitivity feel more noticeable.

If you’ve been experiencing discomfort that seems to come and go, it may be worth having it evaluated. A quick exam can help determine what’s going on and whether treatment is needed.

Wisdom teeth removal recovery doesn’t have to be complicated—knowing what to eat (and what to avoid) can make a big difference in how you feel.

In the first few days after surgery, soft, easy-to-eat foods help support healing and keep you comfortable while your body recovers. As healing progresses, most patients are able to gradually return to their normal diet within about a week.

Every recovery is a little different, but a simple rule applies: if it requires chewing, crunching, or suction—it’s best to wait.

If you have questions during recovery, our team is here to help guide you every step of the way.
