Feel comfortable, even on warm days.

The Energy breast form was developed to support you when your body needs a little extra attention – in the heat, when you are perspiring more, or during hot flashes, for example due to menopause, medication, or physical activity.

Its special design helps make it noticeably more comfortable to wear:
The three-dimensional pearl structure on the back can create a gentle massage effect while also supporting air circulation. This helps moisture escape more easily and can help keep the temperature behind the breast form more balanced.

A high proportion of Comfort+ material also helps regulate warmth and reduce perspiration.

And because needs can vary, the Energy breast form is available in different weight options – so you can choose exactly what feels right for you.

How do you balance survivorship and parenting?

How do you focus on your own health and well-being when little people depend on you for theirs?

How do you keep cancer from driving a wedge between you and your children?

Perhaps you have other urgent questions you're facing now as you manage life after a cancer diagnosis with a family. You're in the right spot.

Join us at the Parenting with Cancer Pop-Up Writing Workshop, dedicated to all who have dealt with not only the trials of a breast cancer diagnosis but have also done it while wearing the "parent" hat.

Writing gives you the space to work through and make sense of what you're facing. Doing so in a group of others who understand can be life-changing.

It is worth trying!

Several years ago, Allegheny Health Network medical oncologist Casey Moffa had a patient who aggressively researched ways to avoid peripheral neuropathy — nerve damage in the fingers and toes that is a common side effect of the chemotherapy regimens used to treat breast cancer.

That patient, who needed full function in her fingers for her job, ended up submerging her fingers in ice water during her treatments. The treatment was successful in that she ultimately preserved full feeling in her hands.

Since that time, Moffa became aware of a product called SuzziPads, mittens and socks designed to keep extremities cold during chemotherapy. She recommended them to her patients, who had good results.

“Just anecdotally, if you looked at it, it was clearly working,” she said.
