Funeral Service for Mr. Willie Lee Davis, age 70, will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Baptist Association Religious Center in McRae, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Helena City Cemetery.

The staff and management of A.L. Spaulding-Barnes Funeral Home join the Tucker and Daniel family in announcing the passing of Mrs. Iris Tucker Daniel.

Mrs. Daniel, born on July 3, 1953, in the town of McRae, Georgia, graced this world with her presence for 73 wonderful years before departing peacefully on September 13, 2026, after a long and courageous battle. Mrs. Iris Daniel was a beloved daughter of the late Mr. Jeremiah (Jerry) Finch and the late Mrs. Mary Lee Tucker. She has now joined her parents and other siblings in eternal rest. Her Brothers were: The Late Mr. Robert Wooten, Mr. Thomas (T.W) Wooten, Mr. Dan Tucker, Mr. Jerry Tucker, & Mr. Lacey Tucker. Mr. General Tucker (Unknown Status). Her Sisters were: The Late Ms. Ida Tucker, Ms. Maxine Tucker, & Mrs. Lucille Finch Blue.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories & continue her love and legacy through one daughter, Ms. Debra Tucker. Two treasured grandchildren, Mr. Dewayne DeGreat and Mrs. Yolanda L. Tucker. Eleven great-grandchildren who doted on her: Tarance, Jordin, Tyler, Angel, Destiney, Arayah, Lameer, Amorah, Nagem, Lacey, & Serenity. Mrs. Daniel’s life was further enriched by her three brothers, Mr. Jimmie (Jaquina) Tucker Jr. Mr. Jasper Finch, and Mr. Dale Bell, along with a host of adoring nephews, nieces’ cousins and friends.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, between the hours of 12:00pm and 5:00pm, in the chapel of A.L. Spaulding-Barnes Funeral Home.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Iris Tucker Daniel, will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Baptist Association Religious Center in McRae, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Green Grove Cemetery.

The family of the late Mr. John E. Batten, Jr. would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has surrounded them with love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.

Thank you to everyone who sent flowers, food, cards, messages, and condolences, as well as those who visited, called, and attended the celebration of Mr. Batten's life. The overwhelming outpouring of love and the incredible attendance at the service were a true testament to the many lives he touched.

The family would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Mrs. Cornelia Patterson for the beautiful tribute and heartfelt eulogy honoring Mr. Batten's life.
