An intersegmental traction table (AKA roller table) is a chiropractic tool that gently mobilizes the spinal joints to improve flexibility and reduce stiffness by helping to stretch muscles and ligaments while initiating motion in the spinal column.

As a patient lays on the table, rollers beneath the surface gently elevate and move up and down the patient's back to help restore motion and relieve pain. This therapy is recommended in conjunction with the chiropractic adjustment and is a patient favorite!

A single adjustment can feel really good in the moment. But the real shift most people notice happens somewhere down the road, after care has had time to build on itself.

It's a little like working out. One good workout might leave you feeling energized for a day. But strength, endurance, and real physical change come from consistency over weeks and months, not from a single session.

Chiropractic care works in a similar way! Each adjustment helps reduce interference in the nervous system and improve communication between the brain and body. On their own, those individual visits offer real benefit. But the most meaningful changes tend to happen when the nervous system has repeated opportunities to recalibrate, settle into healthier patterns, and stop relying on the compensations it built up over time.

This is what we hear from families who stick with consistent care:

• "I finally feel like I'm sleeping through the night again."

• "I used to lose my patience so much faster than this."

• "It's been months since the last time I got sick."

• "I bounced back from that trip way faster than I expected."

• "I just feel more like myself than I have in a long time."

None of this happens overnight. In fact, some of the most meaningful changes are the ones people don't fully appreciate until they realize they haven't thought about that old problem in quite a while.

That's what consistent care has a way of creating over time!

Headaches that show up out of nowhere. Sleep that's just never quite right. Digestion that keeps you guessing. Tension in your neck and shoulders that no amount of stretching seems to touch.

Separately, each one feels manageable. Together, they start to feel like your body is trying to tell you something.

Here's what most people don't realize…those symptoms that seem totally unrelated are often coming from the same place.

Your body doesn't operate in isolated parts. Every system, every function, every response is coordinated through the nervous system.

When that system is under consistent demand without enough opportunity to reset, it starts showing up everywhere at once:

• hormones that feel harder to balance
• inflammation that lingers longer than it should
• anxiety or a sense of stress that never fully quiets down
• muscle tension that keeps coming back no matter what you try
• sleep that doesn't leave you feeling restored

All of those things together are your body signaling for your attention. And usually, these signals are pointing to how much your system is managing beneath the surface, not just one isolated issue.

Chiropractic care looks at what's happening underneath. When the nervous system is communicating clearly and the body isn't constantly working around dysfunction, things start to shift. Not because each symptom was individually targeted, but because the foundation they were all sitting on is finally being supported.

Sometimes the biggest turning point is simply deciding to stop managing symptoms one by one and start looking at the whole picture.

You know the one....that sharp, shooting pain in your hip, your low back, your pelvis. The kind that makes you stop mid-step and just... breathe through it.

If you've felt this during pregnancy, you are so not alone.

As your body grows and changes to make room for your baby, your center of gravity shifts, your ligaments soften, and your pelvis adapts in ways it's never had to before.
All of that is normal.

But "normal" doesn't mean you have to just push through the pain and wait for it to pass.

Often, that stopping-you-in-your-tracks pain points to misalignment or imbalance putting extra pressure on the nerves and structures supporting your growing belly.

When your neuro-spinal system is clear and connected, your body has an easier time adapting to all these rapid changes…supporting better alignment, more room for baby to move, and less of that pain that catches you off guard.

This is exactly why we love supporting moms through pregnancy with gentle, Webster Certified care. You shouldn't have to white-knuckle your way through the next few months.

If this is you right now, we'd love to help you feel more supported in your body.

Postpartum life puts your body in near-constant physical contact: nursing, holding, carrying, soothing.

Add in crying, noise, and broken sleep, and your nervous system stays on high alert almost around the clock with very little time to reset.

Eventually, your body starts reading all of that input as a threat. Not because anything is actually wrong, but because your nervous system has had no chance to come down out of fight-or-flight. That's where the irritability, the urge to escape touch, the feeling of wanting to crawl out of your own skin comes from.

It's a stress response.

This is exactly why nervous system support matters so much in postpartum care. At Revive Family Chiropractic, we help regulate the nervous system so your body has the capacity to tolerate touch and stimulation again…not just survive the day, but actually feel like yourself.

If you're in this season and feeling touched out, you are deeply seen. We'd love to support you.

Ear infection season hits and most parents go straight for antibiotics. We get it! You want your baby to feel better fast.

But did you know that:
The eustachian tube (the tiny tube responsible for draining fluid from the ear) is directly influenced by the muscles and nerves of the upper cervical spine. When a child has tension or restriction at C1 and C2, those muscles tighten, the tube can't open and drain the way it should, and fluid sits. That stagnant fluid becomes the perfect environment for infection to take hold.

This is why so many kids get ear infection after ear infection. The infection gets treated. The drainage problem never does.

A gentle upper cervical adjustment (we're talking pressure lighter than what you'd use to check a tomato for ripeness) removes the interference affecting that drainage pathway. The nervous system gets the signal, the muscles release and the body does what it was designed to do.

Chiropractic doesn't treat ear infections. It allows the nervous system to be clear so the body can handle them on its own.

The difference it makes for kids is something we never get tired of witnessing.

Recurrent ear infections? Bring your little one in.

Your adjustment works. What you do after it is what makes it last. 🌿

Don’t only come in when you're in pain.
Don’t go back to the habits that created the problem.
Don’t ignore what your body is telling you between visits.

Healing is a direction not a destination!

Summer has this beautiful way of slowing everything down.

The mornings feel less rushed, the evenings stretch longer than expected, and there's finally more room to just...breathe. More time outside, more spontaneity, more of the good stuff that gets squeezed out during the busier seasons.

And while all of that is wonderful, your nervous system is still adapting to a lot throughout the season - new environments, more physical activity, later nights, and days that don't always have a clear beginning or end.

It doesn't have to be complicated to support, but a few consistent touchpoints make a real difference in how your body feels all season long:

⛅️ early morning sunlight to help regulate your internal rhythm

😎 more breathing room between activities instead of stacking everything back-to-back

🌳 moments away from noise and screens throughout the day

🌙 a simple evening wind-down routine, even when bedtime shifts later

These aren't big sweeping changes. They're just small rhythms your body can rely on - and that consistency is what helps your nervous system stay more regulated even when the schedule is anything but.

Chiropractic care is part of that foundation too, helping support how your nervous system responds to the extra demands and changes that come with summer so you can actually be present for all of it.
