It never really hits me until I step back and look around… this little place has held a whole lot of conversations, tears, laughs, naps, and quiet moments. I feel pretty lucky to do what I do. 🤍

Appointments are available Tuesday & Thursday after 4:00 PM, with flexible scheduling the rest of the week.

If you’d like to book a couples massage/facial or schedule services with one of my sisters, just let me know ahead of time so we can coordinate our schedules. 🫶🏻✌️🥰

6.5 Water Festival Trail Race. 🏃‍♀️

One more step toward my 100-mile challenge. Every mile is a reminder to appreciate what our bodies do for us. I couldn’t think of a better way to end today’s run.

Time to recover. 🩷

I thought this would be fun… 💛

I almost talked myself out of posting this because I always feel like I sound silly when I’m talking. 😂 My nerves have a funny way of making me overthink everything, but I decided to post it anyway.

I meant to post this yesterday, but life got busy, so we’re officially kicking things off today instead! The video was recorded yesterday, but the challenge starts today.

My girlfriend and I challenged each other to walk 100 miles by October 1, and I got to thinking…maybe some of y’all would want to do it with us too. I know I’ll stay a lot more motivated if we’ve got people cheering each other on and holding each other accountable, and maybe it’ll help motivate you too.

No pressure, no competition…just a group of people trying to do something good for themselves and helping each other stick with it.

If you’d like to join us, send me a message and I’ll add you to the group! We’ll check in, cheer each other on, celebrate the little wins, and maybe give each other a hard time when someone skips a walk. 😂

Here’s to 100 miles by October 1…one step at a time. ❤️💪✌️ mind over matter!

One of the things I love most about microneedling is that it works with your body’s natural healing process. Nothing artificial is being added. The treatment simply encourages your skin to produce new collagen and elastin, allowing your body to do what it was designed to do.

This one took a little courage to post… especially with that filter button right there. 😂

Being an esthetician doesn’t mean I’ve always had great skin. I’ve dealt with uneven skin tone, discoloration, larger pores, and fine lines just like so many other people. That’s actually one of the reasons I fell in love with skincare.

If I’m going to recommend a treatment to my clients, I want to experience it myself and show real results not filtered ones.

This is my real skin after one treatment, and I’m excited to see what a full series does. ❤️

Look what I purchased for the spa! 😊

I love adding little touches like this. This is definitely a fun way to promote my small business, because, well… that’s what it’s for But I also love finding little ways to make the spa feel a little more personal and a little more than just another appointment.

At the end of the day, I want 3 Sisters Spa to be more than just a place you stop in for a massage or facial. I want it to be a place you enjoy coming back to.

Now come get caught relaxing… and don’t forget the selfie! 😉📸

The other day I pulled out a chest that has some of Dad’s things in it. I hadn’t gone through it in a long time. I came across the wallet he carried every day and his old flip phone. It’s funny how seeing something that simple can bring back a flood of memories. Looking at that old phone made me realize just how much life has changed in the last 13 years.

Growing up in Claypool Holler, we thought we had it made. Dad was always building something. He dammed up the creek so we’d have a place to swim and hung a seat on a grapevine so we could swing out over the water. He built a teeter-totter out of a tree and cut trails all over the property for our four-wheelers, go-karts, and snowmobiles. Looking back now, I realize he wasn’t just building things. He was building memories.

When I go down to the old house and sit for a while, I find myself reminiscing... Even writing this, one thing I’d love to do is walk through that door and go back to one of those evenings when we were all 5 together.

Dad would’ve just come in from the garage dirty from working on a vehicle all day. Mom would’ve spent the day cleaning house with Hotel California blaring through the stereo while dinner cooked on the stove. Me and my sisters would’ve been outside all day doing all the things Dad had built and made for us to enjoy before hearing Mom call us in for dinner.

I was probably complaining about something, one of my sisters had aggravated me, Dad was taking up for whoever was getting blamed, and Mom was saying, “Now can’t we all just get along?” before telling us all to hush and eat.

Back then it felt like just another day. Now I’d give anything to walk through that door and have one more evening like that.

Both of my parents left this world way too soon. If your parents are still here, love them while you can. Spend time with them. Listen to their stories. One day you’ll realize those ordinary moments were the ones that mattered most.

In honor of my dad, any dad who books a service by Father’s Day will receive $10 off and complimentary access to the wellness room. It includes the infrared sauna, vibration plate, red light therapy, and light therapy lamp, with more being added over time.

I know that’s a little more time than some of you are probably used to setting aside for yourselves, but if you’re anything like the rest of us, there’s always something else that needs done and we usually put ourselves last.

I’m definitely going to be working on convincing my father-in-law to come in. Anybody that knows Keith knows he doesn’t slow down for much of anything. 😂 Aaron isn’t much better, but thankfully I’ve never had much trouble talking him into a massage.

I am currently booked through the end of June. As long as the service is booked by Father’s Day, the discount and wellness room access can be used on appointments scheduled into July. 🫶✌️🤗

Boring business post here… lol 😂

It’s hard to believe that 3 Sisters Spa has only been open since October.

Somewhere between the massages, facials, waxing appointments, permanent makeup, and enough Amazon packages to make my husband question my sanity, these last several months have flown by. 😂

There have been days I’ve walked out of there thinking, “How in the world did this happen?” and days I’ve wondered if I was completely crazy for doing it.

When I first started, I had no idea what to expect. I think that’s why I spent so much time overthinking everything. If someone didn’t rebook, I’d automatically wonder if I’d done something wrong. As time went on, I realized something pretty simple… you can’t be everything to everybody, and that’s okay.

The truth is, I’m pretty happy right where I’m at.

I’ve met some really amazing people over the last several months. I get to spend my days hearing their stories, helping them relax, and hopefully making their day a little better before they leave. That’s a pretty good job if you ask me. 😊

To everyone who has booked with me, shared a post, recommended me to someone, left a review, or simply trusted me enough to give me a chance, thank you. Every one of you has helped make this possible.

With that being said, I’ve updated my menu and adjusted a few prices. When I first started, I kept several services lower while I was getting established. Since then, I’ve invested in new equipment, products, and services, so a few changes had to be made.

Anyway, enough of me rambling. 😂 Here’s the updated menu. ❤️

Sorry in advance for all the running pictures, but there will probably be plenty more of them this summer. 🏃‍♀️I never know what to post on my business page half the time anyway, so I guess y’all are just getting a glimpse of what my life looks like when I’m not at the spa trying to build a business in a small town.

I’ve been running for a lot of years now, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that motivation has never stuck around very long for me. I have good seasons and bad seasons, and this past winter was rough. If I would’ve stayed as dedicated as I always swore I was going to be, I might be able to outrun my husband by now… lol.

I don’t run because I’m some great runner. I run because I need to. Some days I enjoy it, some days I fuss the whole way. Some days I’m wondering why in the world I’m so slow. Then I cross the finish line and tell myself this is it… I’m gonna stick with it this time, eat better, feel better, feel good in my body, and be the healthiest version of myself I can be. A few hours later, that motivation is gone and I’m right back to being me. 🙃

But I keep signing up anyway.

And if you’ve been putting something off because you don’t feel motivated, here’s my two cents: just get up and do it. Most of the time it’s mind over matter. Our bodies get used to whatever we do every day. If we don’t move, they get used to not moving. If we move, they get stronger. The older I get, the more I realize how important that is. We lose muscle, strength, balance, and endurance as we age, and if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it.

So no, these running pictures aren’t really about running. They’re just a reminder that sometimes you’ve got to do things even when you don’t feel like it.

Another one bites the dust. Made it to the finish line… until the next one.

Howlin’ Trails 5K 😊✌️
