William H. Empson Sr., age 72, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday August 18, 2026. He was born on December 27, 1953 in Niagara Falls, NY to the late William R. and Barbara (Stevens) Empson.
He proudly served in the US Army. He enjoyed classic cars, going to car shows, fishing, hunting, watching and attending NASCAR races and spending time with his grandchildren.
William is survived by his fiancé of over 25 years, Ava Crawford of Meadville, PA; his children, Lisa Siuta and her husband, Raymond of Dawsonville, GA, Will Empson II and his wife, Alicia of Land O Lakes, FL, Chad Hower, Bram Hower, Hillary Brunot, Court Hower and Phillip Crawford; his grandchildren, Ryan Empson, Tyler Morton, Tyler Empson, Dellah Empson, Lily Empson, Ella Siuta and Madeline Siuta; his great granddaughter, Lila Empson and his sister, Debbie Jamieson of Lakeland, FL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Randy Empson and Dennis Empson.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Milan Adolphus Crawford, age 80, of Saegertown, PA passed away Friday August 21, 2026 peacefully with his family by his side. He was born March 24, 1946 in Pocomoke City, MD., the son of the late James and Rita (Porter) Crawford. He married Barbara Hull December 1, 1967. She preceded him in death April 3, 2018.
Milan attended Saegertown and Townville High Schools. Milan proudly served in the USMC earning the rank of Corporal from June 1964 until October 1966 when he was injured and received a Purple Heart. He also earned a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Cross of Gallantry and a Rifle Sharpshooter Badge. After returning from the military, Milan owned and operated a Boron gas station in Meadville, PA and then owned and operated Crawford Trucking until his retirement in mid 2000’s.
He was a member of the Saegertown American Legion Post #205. In his spare time he enjoyed tinkering with his hot rods, cruising around with his sons and friends and having breakfast with his friends at Post #205.
Milan is survived by his sons, Milan J. Crawford and his wife, Angela of Saegertown, PA and Ben Crawford and his wife, Pamela of Conneaut Lake, PA; his grandchildren, Garrett Crawford and Meighan Canter and her husband, Chase and his sisters, Sheila Preston and her husband, Delmar of Cochranton, PA, Patricia Walls of Harrington, DE, Diane Longstreth of Saegertown, PA and Joanne Ostrowski-Burke and her husband, James of Cincinatti, OH.
In addition to his parents and his beloved wife, Barbara, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roscoe Crawford and James Crawford and his sister, Marybeth Beddow.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday August 23, 2026 from 1- 4 pm at Saegertown American Legion Post #205, 755 South St., Saegertown, PA 16433. Full military honors will be provided by Veterans of the Vietnam War Post #52.

Shirley G. Smith, age 87, of Guys Mills, PA passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Wesbury United Methodist Community. Shirley was born in Meadville, PA on May 17, 1939 the daughter of the late Harold and Marie (Nicola) Greathouse. She married Harold Smith on July 11, 1959. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2024.
Shirley was a graduate of Randolph High School. Through the years, Shirley worked at Talon, as the Randolph Township Secretary and retired as Randolph Township Tax Collector.
She was a member of the United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills, PA.
Shirley enjoyed shopping, weekly visits to the hair salon and baking and cooking for her family. In her earlier years, Shirley enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Julie (John) Smith of Saegertown, PA, her grandson, Jarrett and her great-grandson, Carson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Eugene Greathouse.
Per the family’s request, a private family service will be conducted at Black Ash Cemetery.

Delores M. (Miller) Granda, age 92, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday August 18, 2026 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community. She was born September 17, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Ignatius and Florence (Williams) Miller. She married Walter Granda on August 21, 1950 and they had 55 loving years together before his passing on March 3, 2006.
Delores was well known at her places of employment such as G.C. Murphey’s, Value City, Goodwill and Family Services. She enjoyed working and making friends with her co-workers. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, knitting and spending time with all of her grandchildren.
Delores is survived by her daughter, Cathy Steadman and her husband, Bill of Meadville, PA; her grandchildren, Elaine (Brent) Rusek of Meadville, PA, Tanya (James) Kightlinger of Meadville, PA, William McKay of San Antonio, TX and Richard (Alysson) McKay of Enola, PA; her great- grandchildren, Emmaleigh (Sean) Izbinski of Fair Water, MI, Erin McKay of Orlando, FL, Meghan Steadman and significant other, James Reing of Edinboro, PA, Sofia DeJohn and her significant other, Donavyn Munoz of Tampa, FL, Reagan McKay of Orlando, FL, Ryan Kightlinger and his significant other, Rylee Kregel of Meadville, PA and Ryley, Chloe and Haley McKay all of Enola, PA; two great great grandchildren Cassandra McKay of Orlando, FL and Laramie Izbinski of Fair Water, WI; her sisters, Mary Wasson of Meadville, PA and Ann Gladis of Atlantic, PA and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Delores was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen A. McKay; her brother, Frank Miller and two sisters, Geraldine Padgett and Bernadette Shouey.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday August 20, 2026 from 4-6 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA. Funeral Mass will be Friday August 21, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Agatha’s Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, PA with Father Jeff Lucas officiating.

Ralph Lester Woge, age 71, of Saegertown, PA passed away on August 13, 2026 at Crawford County Care Center. He was born on October 1, 1954, in Meadville, PA to the late Lester M and Doris E. (Reichel) Woge.
Ralph graduated from Saegertown High School in 1972. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 9.5 years and earned the rank of E5. He was a carpenter by trade, working at Dibble Custom Homes in North Carolina.
Ralph was a member of Hamlin Chapel.
He was a member of the Saegertown American Legion Post #205. He played in multiple pool leagues. He enjoyed archery, fishing, hunting, cooking and spending time with his family-especially his grandchildren.
Ralph is survived by his four sons, “Jr” Woge of NC, Ryan Paul Woge of Meadville, PA, Orry Candfield Woge and his wife, Jari of NC and Colton Woge of NC; his grandchildren, Max and Lily Woge and Hazelynn and Ivory Woge; his sisters, Melanie Mushrush of Saegertown, PA and Molly McCullough of Meadville, PA and brothers, Rudy Woge of Meadville, PA and Paul Brown of Saegertown, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Valerie Craft, Max Woge, Woody Woge, Lynette Sutter and Renee Woge.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 22, 2026 at Saegertown American Legion Post # 205 from 2-5 pm. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Tammy Cotherman, age 63, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away at her home on August 9, 2026. She was born in Franklin, PA on April 19, 1963 to the late Clarence and Janet Crawford. She married Daniel Cotherman Jr.
Tammy earned her GED. She devoted her time to being a mother and a housewife.

Brenda C. Keefer, age 55, of Saegertown, PA passed away at her home on Friday August 7, 2026. She was born on January 20, 1971 in Corry, PA to Jack D. and Marjorie A. (Alexander) McCrillis. She married Phillip A. Keefer on September 29, 1990. He survives.
She graduated from Union City High School. She was employed as a support service professional for the ARC of Crawford County.
Brenda was a member of Pleasantview Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. She spent her free time studying her Bible.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is survived by her children, Sydney Keefer, Skyler Keefer and his wife, Julia and Spencer Keefer all of Saegertown, PA and her brothers, Brian McCrillis, Bruce McCrillis both of Saegertown, PA and Braden McCrillis of Melbourne, FL.

Stacey Renee Shay, age 42, of Meadville, PA passed away comfortably at Marquette Hospice House on August 9, 2026 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on October 27, 1983 in Meadville, PA to Robert J. Shay Jr. and the late Darla (Gamble) Shay.
Stacey attended Meadville High School. She attended Edinboro University. She worked in-home healthcare for Sunny Days.
She was a star athlete in high school. She excelled in basketball, softball, wrestling and soccer. She was a die-hard Steelers fan. She enjoyed spending time outdoors. She loved celebrating Halloween and Christmas. She also loved to shop.
Stacey is survived by her son, Payton Shay and his significant other, Heather of Meadville, PA; her grandchildren, Payton Jr. and Praxton; her father, Bob Shay; her brother, Robbie Shay and his significant other, Stephanie of Saegertown; her nieces and nephews, RJ, Keegan, Victoria and Haley and her beloved dogs, Apollo, Topaz and Ravyn and her ferret, Domino.
She was preceded in death by her mother, her stepfather, Jack Lackey; her godfather, Dom Mottillo her beloved ferret, Carmella.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Stacey’s family would like to thank the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, the Fox Chase Cancer Center, especially Dr. Igor Astaturov and the Marquette Hospice House for their wonderful care of her.
Stacey was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her. She will never be forgotten.

Emelina (Emmy) Bahurinsky, age 97, of Meadville PA, passed away peacefully on Friday August 7, 2026 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community. She was born January 7, 1929 in Meadville PA, the daughter of the late Dominic and Marie (Grasso) Bengivenga. She married David Bahurinsky on August 5, 1950. He preceded her in death April 17, 2021.
Emelina retired from Avtex Fibers but she was also known for being an Avon representative for many years. She also worked at DeSantis Party Shop and Gabby Ave News. She was a member of St. Mary of Grace of Meadville.
Emelina enjoyed going to the casino and doing crafts. She loved to be around people and children. She was a people person.
She is survived by one daughter, Laurie (Ken) Stewart of Meadville, PA; one son, David (Lori) Bahurinsky of Meadville, PA; two grandchildren, Brian (Brittany) Bahurinsky of Piittsburgh, PA and Erin (Jeff) Mackiewicz of Venango, PA and three great-grandchildren; Emma, Ava, and Bristol.
In addition to her parents and husband, Emelina was preceded in death by a daughter, Leslie Ann; sisters, Carmella Feleppa, Helen Camasi, Rose Musica, Gertrude Krem and Ann Bergamasco; brothers, Ciro Bengivenga, Anthony Bengivenga, John Bengivenga, Clem Bengivenga, Michael Bengivenga and infant siblings, Mary and Joseph.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest at St. Brigid Cemetery.
