🚨 Air Quality Alert: Protect Yourself & Your Loved Ones 🚨
The air quality in our area has reached hazardous levels due to wildfire smoke. Poor air quality can affect everyone, but it can be especially dangerous for older adults, individuals with heart or lung conditions, young children, and those with weakened immune systems.
To stay safe:
• Stay indoors as much as possible.
• Keep windows and doors closed.
• Run your air conditioner on the recirculate setting if available.
• Avoid strenuous outdoor activities.
• If you must go outside, consider wearing a well-fitting N95 or KN95 mask.
• Stay hydrated and monitor for symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, or difficulty breathing.
At Cross Home Care, the health and well-being of our clients and caregivers is our top priority. Our caregivers are here to help ensure seniors remain safe and comfortable during periods of poor air quality by assisting with daily needs while encouraging healthy precautions.
Please check on your elderly family members, neighbors, and friends today. A simple phone call or visit can make a big difference. 🩵
