With the assistance of an Allegheny College CEL HUB grant, Me Again Mentoring will be part of the 2026 STEAM Camp at Allegheny Lab for Innovation and Creativity - ALIC at Bessemer introducing these careers to our area’s youth. 🦾GREAT activities are in the works, including Me Again and how we help others, in addition to the Boutique🎉 Limited spaces— register your young person TODAY!

The CDC reports 75% of breast cancer diagnoses have NO family history or symptoms. Therefore, the recommended age for a first mammogram is 40 years old.

Early detection leads to a 99% survival rate 5 years following diagnosis. Base line mammograms, even for average-risk women, are helpful when comparing breast tissue for changes.

Mammograms are currently the most common diagnostic test to identify microscopic changes which may be seen before ever experiencing symptoms.
