Exciting news, everyone! Dragon Hand Massage is growing 🌿

A little while back I mentioned I was hoping to bring another massage therapist on board, and I'm so happy to say the search is over. Please help me welcome Oscar Mari to the studio!

Oscar completed his massage therapy training at HACC, the same program I trained through, and he brings such a genuine passion for this work. With a background in hospitality, he has a real gift for making people feel welcome and cared for from the moment they walk in. He listens, he checks in, and he tailors every session to what your body needs that day.

He'll be offering Custom, Deep Tissue, and Swedish / Relaxation massage, with openings Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11am to 7pm. And yes, that means shorter waits to get in for a massage!

Big updates at Dragon Hand Massage!

As many of you know, I am currently pregnant and will be reducing my hours within the next few months. With my schedule fully booked out, I've decided it's time to bring on another licensed massage therapist to help me continue providing the community with a high standard of service.

The studio is getting upgrades too! Both of our rooms now have new electric massage tables:
• Easier to get on - ADA compliant, so we can lower them for anyone who has trouble getting up onto a standard table
• Tilt feature - wonderful for clients who have trouble lying flat
• Fully adjustable - we can fine-tune the positioning for every single person

That means a more comfortable, higher quality experience for every service we offer, whether you're seeing me for a massage or Stephen for assisted stretching, reiki, or reflexology. We also wired in new speakers in each room and the lobby, so the music is higher quality and more reliable. No more Bluetooth dropouts, just uninterrupted relaxation.

My schedule is booked out a bit, but Stephen has openings now if you'd like to try the new tables sooner!

We're hiring a Licensed Massage Therapist! 🐉

Dragon Hand Massage in Mechanicsburg is looking for a part-time LMT to join our small, appointment-only studio. Steady client base, calm unhurried pace, and a team that values quality over volume.

This is a W-2 employee position (not contract) with:

- 42% commission to start, plus tips. Most 60-minute sessions bring $55 to $65 total.
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- Paid time off that accrues as you work
- $500 toward continuing education each renewal cycle
- A real zero-tolerance safety policy. You're fully backed to end any session that crosses a line.

What we're looking for:

- Active PA massage license (LMT)
- Professional liability insurance before your first day
- Reliability and genuine care for clients

Schedule is roughly 15 to 20 hands-on hours a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday), including at least one weekend day. You'll have input on your days and hours.

As many of you know, and for those of you I may not have seen for awhile, I am 5 months pregnant. Business will continue as usual, hopefully right up till birth! If I need to cut back on hours, or limit myself to certain modalities that are easier on my body, I will do my best to update you.

Since I am due in October, please be prepared for sudden schedule changes. I or my husband will reach out to cancel any appointments that I will not be available for. I due plan to be off for two months for maternity leave, and I will make a post to update you on when my schedule will be open for new bookings. Facebook, Instagram or my email list is where updates will be posted.

We are looking at hiring another massage therapist over the summer to handle new clients and to possibly fill in for your massage needs while I am out on leave.
