🎒 Halfway Through Summer... Have You Hit an Amusement Park Yet? β˜€οΈ

A day at the amusement park means miles of walking, standing in lines, and plenty of thrills! Before you head out, take just a few minutes to warm up your body so you can enjoy every ride without paying for it the next day.

βœ… Walk in place for 2–3 minutes
βœ… Stretch your calves, hamstrings, and quads
βœ… Roll your shoulders and loosen up your neck
βœ… Do a few gentle ankle circles and leg swings

Don't forget to wear supportive shoes, stay hydrated, and take short breaks throughout the day.

A little preparation goes a long way toward keeping your summer adventures fun and pain-free! πŸŽ‘πŸ‘ŸπŸ’™

🌑️ 100° Outside? Your Workout May Need a New Plan.

When temperatures climb into the triple digits, your body works much harder to stay cool. Exercising in extreme heat can increase your risk of dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.

Instead:
πŸ’§ Stay hydrated before, during, and after your workout.
πŸŒ… Exercise early in the morning or after sunset.
πŸƒ Choose indoor activities like walking on a treadmill, strength training, or a fitness class.
πŸ‘• Wear lightweight, breathable clothing and listen to your body.

Missing one outdoor workout is far better than risking a heat-related illness. Stay safe, stay cool, and keep moving!

Cleaning up after the storm? 🌳

Picking up branches, raking, lifting debris, and using a chainsaw can leave your muscles sore. When you're finished, take a few minutes to stretch your back, shoulders, hips, and legs. Add in plenty of water, take breaks, and always lift with your legs.

A little recovery today can help you feel better tomorrow. πŸ’™

If you are still sore, give us a call and we can help. (717) 790-9994

πŸ’§ If you're exercising or spending time outdoors, drink even more.

A little extra hydration can go a long way in helping you feel your best and stay active safely. Stay cool, friends! πŸ’™

✈️ Vacation Stretching Tip: Flying Soon? ✈️

Long flights can leave you feeling stiff and achy before your vacation even begins!

Try these easy stretches during your flight:
βœ… Roll your shoulders backward and forward
βœ… Gently turn your head side to side
βœ… Point and flex your feet to improve circulation
βœ… Stand up and walk the aisle every hour or two when it's safe to do so

A few minutes of movement can help reduce stiffness, improve circulation, and make your arrival much more comfortable.

πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Quick Safety Reminder! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ

As the weather warms up and more people are out enjoying walks, runs, and bike rides, remember these important road safety guidelines:

βœ… Walkers & Runners: Face traffic. Walk or run on the LEFT side of the road when sidewalks aren't available so you can see oncoming vehicles.

βœ… Cyclists: Ride with traffic. Bicycles are considered vehicles and should travel on the RIGHT side of the road, following the same direction as traffic.

A simple reminder can make a big difference in keeping everyone safe while staying active. Enjoy the outdoors, stay visible, and keep moving safely! πŸ’™
