Happy National Sand Day! Today, we celebrated by creating sand art, getting a little sandy, and sharing plenty of laughs. Our residents fondly reminisced about past beach memories, reminding us of the joy in simple things.

Our residents had a sweet time visiting Silver
Side Cafe & Creamery! We enjoyed fresh ice cream, taste-tested some delicious flavors, and reminisced about the old diner that once stood on Cameron Street in Harrisburg.
The staff were wonderful and shared the history of their new shop with us. And our top recommendation? The banana ice cream!
We may just need to return for more “research”!

Our Boardwalk Carnival Happy Hour was a blast! The Villones had everyone feeling like they were strolling the 1950s Atlantic City Boardwalk, playing all those favorite tunes that brought back so many wonderful memories. Between the delicious food, lots of laughter, and plenty of sing-alongs, the room was filled with smiles. They always bring incredible energy, fun, and a whole lot of joy—and our residents loved every minute of it!

Who knew sand could stir up so many memories? Today we got creative making our own sand art while taking a virtual trip back to the Atlantic City Boardwalk of the 1950s. We shared laughs about our love-hate relationship with sand—it gets everywhere, but it sure holds some of our favorite beach memories! A morning full of creativity, nostalgia, and just a little bit of “sand between our toes.”

Boardwalk Bingo was a shore thing! Our residents had a whale of a time winning beach-themed stuffed sea creatures, thanks to all the amazing donations that found new homes. Between the laughs, the prizes, and the beach memories, it was an otterly unforgettable afternoon!

Nothing says Atlantic City Boardwalk Week quite like homemade saltwater taffy!
We kicked off the week with a sweet taffy-making class filled with laughter, storytelling, and delicious treats. Residents shared cherished memories of family beach trips, boardwalk adventures, and their favorite seaside traditions while enjoying samples of their tasty creations.
What a wonderful morning of reminiscing, smiling, and making new memories together—one sweet bite at a time!
