Not only is Laura our beautiful hairdresser, but she is also our expert tour guide! During the summer, Laura and her sister embarked on an incredible two-week journey traveling throughout Europe. From the picturesque streets of Paris to the stunning landscapes of Greece, Laura has captivating stories from every corner of the continent. 🥖🍷

She brought back a treasure trove of memories to share with us - gorgeous photos that transport us right into those vibrant European cities! 📸❤️ But that’s not all; Laura also treated us to delightful goody bags filled with unique souvenirs and local specialties. This morning, Carol and Elizabeth got creative with some fun up-cycling! They transformed ordinary juice and soda bottles into beautiful flowers 🌸.

The process began with dipping the bases of these containers into vibrant paint. They then stamped them onto paper, creating stunning floral shapes.

But that wasn't all! To bring their artwork to life, they added intricate details like leaves and stems, turning their creations into a blossoming garden of roses and orchids. 🌹✨ This project not only sparked their creativity but also showcased the beauty of reusing materials in a fun and artistic way!

Marilyn, Lisa, and Eddie had the unique opportunity to touch and feel real fossil specimens, making the experience both educational and interactive. Did you know that aquatic locations are considered the best environments for these ancient wonders? 🌊 Fossils often come from creatures that lived in water, and sometimes, these tiny beings can be covered with sand for preservation, helping us connect with Earth's history.

Iowa, once an aquatic oasis, is particularly special as it's home to a unique type of fossil called Crinoids! 🌟 These fascinating marine animals, often referred to as "sea lilies," give us a glimpse into the distant past when they thrived in shallow oceans.
