Our resident spotlight today is Gladys! Gladys was born in Richmond, VA. A few of her favorite things are the colors green and yellow, eating fried chicken, listening to uplifting music, and watching The Guiding Light. Before she retired, Gladys worked as a school bus driver. She raised 3 children, has 8 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

For fun, she enjoys watching TV and being around animals. She misses her pets back home dearly. One thing Gladys always wanted to learn how to do is cure cancer. She lost one of her children to cancer, and it has weighed heavily on her heart ever since.

Our Autumn Fest definitely deserved some recognition. The hallways were flooded with guests, vendors, and even our own residents. Our guests were able to tour our beautiful community, enjoy a scrumptious catered lunch, meet local organizations dedicated to serving seniors, veterans, and caregivers, take part in door prizes and giveaways, and enjoy live entertainment.

This was a very successful event, and everyone had a wonderful time. We would like to thank our admissions team for organizing and hosting this event.
