Last Thursday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of our Central Oregon office with the Chamber of Commerce. It was especially meaningful to have owner Jeff Valderrama join Stony and Nicole Douglas as we marked this exciting milestone together.

🌟 A Note from Our Medford Nurse Tina 🌟

One of the things we love most about being a small, family-owned agency is that we get to see the difference our caregivers make firsthand.

This past week, our RN, Tina, reached out to recognize one of our caregiver teams after seeing positive health improvements in one of our clients. Her message was simple: those improvements didn't happen by accident. They happened because caregivers were paying attention, showing up consistently, making sure needs were met, and truly caring.

As Tina put it, "Excellent work! Thank you for doing excellent work and for truly caring. I really appreciate you and everything you do—I know it isn't always easy."

We couldn't agree with Tina more.

Caregiving is so much more than helping with daily tasks. It's noticing the little things, building trust, encouraging healthy habits, and being there day after day. Sometimes those efforts lead to real, measurable improvements, and it's a reminder that what you do matters.

To all of our caregivers: thank you for the heart you bring to this work every day. ❤️

Caregiver meetings are never just policies and paperwork around here at New Outlook Home Care. ❤️
Last week our Medford team gathered to review updates to the new handbook, connect as a team, and spend time together outside the daily rush of caregiving. There were important conversations, lots of good questions… and plenty of laughs along the way too.

Our caregivers also got to meet Rain, our new Front Office Coordinator (pictured in the black jacket), and we’re so excited to have her as part of the New Outlook family.

The best part of these meetings is always the reminder that behind every schedule, shift, and care plan is a group of people who genuinely care for one another and the clients we serve.

And yes… our Admin Tanya’s outtake photo absolutely had to make the post. 😂

The event is on Thursday, May 21 at 6:30pm and will cover common warning signs of Alzhemier’s, next steps, and resources.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms in our New Outlook family.

Today we’re celebrating the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who make up our caregiving team, office staff, admin team, and wonderful clients. The love, strength, patience, and care you’ve poured into your families and into others over the years does not go unnoticed.

We’re so thankful for the women we have the privilege to work alongside and care for each day.

And for those who may be missing a mother or child today, we are thinking of you too. Wishing everyone a joyful and meaningful Mother’s Day. 💐

Last Thursday our Medford caregiving team got together for Music Trivia Night at the Phoodery in Phoenix and it was such a fun evening. Lots of laughing, random music trivia debates, good food, and just getting to spend time building connections together outside of work. Caregiving in clients’ homes can sometimes feel isolating, so having opportunities to connect and support each other outside of shifts really matters.

Pictured are our owner Jeff, Toni, Omar, Tanya (plus her daughter!), Maria, Denise, AJ, and Val. We’re thankful for this team and already looking forward to the next meetup.
