The new school year is here! Now is a good time to schedule annual well-visits and make sure your child's immunizations are up to date. 🩺🎒

Children and teens ages 3 to 19 should see their primary care provider for one well-visit each year. These preventive checkups track physical growth, emotional and mental development and overall health. They help providers find health concerns early and ensure your child is up to date with their immunizations.

Safe, stable recovery starts with having the right support at the right time.

Through a partnership with Rogue Retreat, we are proud to help provide medical respite support for members experiencing houselessness who need ongoing care and recovery support outside of a hospital setting.

In 2025, the program served 46 members and helped connect individuals to more stable housing, substance use treatment and ongoing support services.

Jackson County knows how to party! 😎🎉

About 720 community members joined us at Phoenix High School for the Healthy Start Block Party to celebrate, connect and prepare for the upcoming school year.

Together with Phoenix-Talent Schools and local community partners, we helped families access health screenings, school supplies, free food, haircuts and valuable resources—all while enjoying games, activities and family fun.

We're grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered and helped make this event possible. Thank you for helping make this year's Healthy Start Block Party a success. We wish all students and families a healthy, happy and successful school year! 💚
