Save this post to remember some of the top candida fighting foods 🧄

Candida overgrowth can be a result of poor digestion, use of antibiotics or antacids, overconsumption of refined carbohydrates and sugars, and stress.

If you have a candida overgrowth, you’ll typically experience:
• chronic fatigue
• brain fog
• gas and bloating
• cravings for sweets
• anxiety or depression symptoms
• lack of libido
• recurring UTI’s or vaginal infections

So what can you do?

First, always seek help from a naturopath or nutritionist.

Incorporate candida fighting foods like coconut oil, lemon, garlic, probiotic foods, dark leafy greens, turmeric, coconut milk, and pumpkin seeds.

Reduce foods that can feed candida cells, like refined sugars and carbohydrates and alcohol.

These cookies are like classic pumpkin pie filling and an almond flour pie crust combined into one cookie. They feature soft pumpkin cookies rolled in cinnamon sugar and topped with coconut whip cream!

Cycle Syncing can seem daunting at first but is a simple strategy you can use to optimize your meals to support your body during each phase of your cycle. Once you get into a routine and listen to your body’s cues, many people find they naturally crave these supportive foods during each phase of their cycle.

✨Menstral Phase

Focus on rich and warming foods that nourish the body. Add in iron-rich foods such as cacao powder, pumpkin seeds, beans and legumes, dark leafy greens, and sea veggies. Try warming foods like nourishing soups, broths, stews, and warmed legumes.

✨Follicular Phase

Focus on energizing foods post menstruation. You may crave fresh, light, and raw foods like fruits and veggies. Sprouts and fermented foods can be added as garnishes.

✨Ovulation

During ovulation the focus is on detoxification of excess estrogen. Focus on liver supporting foods such as dandelion tea, milk thistle tea, turmeric, and cruciferous veggies like kale, swiss chard, collard greens, cauliflower, broccoli, brussel spouts, bok choy, and cabbage.

✨Luteal

To prepare for menstruation, focus on grounding foods and root vegetables like sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, parsnips, radishes, as well as foods rich in the B vitamins, magnesium, and calcium like dark leafy greens, nuts, and seeds.
