Tuning Into Neutrality
Yogi Bhajan taught that the Neutral Mind is the place of intuition—the space beyond reaction, judgment, and mental noise.
“It is the neutral mind which becomes the intuitive force in you.”
Neutrality creates a pause. In that pause, we can listen.
When we are caught in polarity, we are constantly deciding: Do I like this or dislike it? Is this good or bad? Should I move toward it or away from it? We react through old experiences, fears, desires, and conditioning.
The Neutral Mind allows us to take in what is happening without immediately being pulled in one direction or another. From that place, we can listen more deeply and discern what to do.
This is where the idea of being an antenna becomes powerful.
An antenna doesn’t chase the signal. It doesn’t force the signal. It becomes still and receptive enough to receive.
When we tune into neutrality, we become less focused on controlling the outcome and more available to what is actually present. We can hear the subtle information beneath the noise—the intuitive nudge, the feeling, the timing, the knowing.
Neutrality is not passivity. It is receptivity.
It allows us to move from reaction to response, from mental noise to intuition, and from forcing to listening.
The practice is simple:
Pause.
Breathe.
Become neutral.
Listen.
Receive.
Then act.
The more we cultivate neutrality, the clearer the antenna becomes.
We don’t need to chase the answer.
We become still enough to receive it.
