It's carnival week! On Tuesday, we turned the Towne Hall into a carnival for our Monticello residents, and on Friday, the entire community is invited for a day of fun. Fall is in full swing, and this week we talk about some of the many fun things to do near Riddle Village. From outdoor activities like trails, scenic nature, and pumpkin patches to indoor history tours and shopping, there is something for everyone to enjoy in the surrounding area!

October has arrived, and there is something for everyone at Riddle Village to look forward to! This month, we have everything from carnivals to variety shows, with plenty of musical performances, educational programs, and courtyard competitions in between!

Please help us congratulate, Keaira Williams from our environmental services team for being the latest Extra Mile Award Winner for Riddle Village’s Customer Service program! While in her car and on her way out of Riddle Village following her shift, Keaira saw a visitor fall at Riddle Village. She immediately pulled over to help the visitor up and then escorted her back into the building to seek medical attention. These actions are not one of just a good employee but also a good person! Thank you, Keaira, for taking the time to help another in need and going the extra mile for our visitor!

Other employees who are currently being recognized as taking the Extra Step, were Patty Derry of Transportation, Antoinette Bradt of PCU, Greg Greene of Dietary, Monique Brown of Skilled Nursing, Vivi Fitzgibbons of Administration, Jalena Reed of Skilled Nursing, and Michele Shermer from Accounting. Thank you to all our employees who look for ways to further our common purpose of taking the extra step for our residents, guests, and each other!

Who says prom is just for high school?! Our Monticello residents had a blast dressing up, posing for pictures, and listening to live music. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped to bring prom to Riddle Village!
