Activity Director Kim Poehls hosted an afternoon county fair-themed event for the residents today. She made her delicious cinnamon-sugar donuts in the servery on 330 hall and served them along with freshly-made lemonade. The smell of the freshly-made donuts was fantastic. Fairground music, festive tablecloths, and animal centerpieces set the mood. Thank you to staff, residents, and family members that participated.

We'd like to thank Dawn and Bill for their generosity hosting a lovely ice cream social today in memory of Fred Amstutz. Fred was much beloved by his family and friends and was a special part of the Medina Meadows family. Dawn and Bill were faithful and present caregivers. Thank you to them for hosting the gathering today and bringing the delicious ice cream from Handels for staff and residents to share.

Thank you to photographer, musician, composer, and teacher Mary Lou Jubin for her show at the Meadows today "2026 Mini, Mighty, and Magnificent". Mary Lou combines her nature photography with her original musical compositions and arrangements for hammered dulcimer. Educational components are woven into the presentation for a performance that is both entertaining and enlightening. A sing-along and door prize raffle ended the program. Thank you Mary Lou!
