Training for performance isn’t just for elite athletes.

It’s about building the strength, endurance, energy, and resilience to do more of what matters to you.

Training with performance in mind can help support:
→ Strength and physical resilience
→ Energy and endurance
→ Mental focus
→ Cardiovascular, muscle, and bone health
→ Your ability to keep doing the activities you enjoy

Your version of “performance” might be training for a HYROX or race, getting stronger in the gym, keeping up with your kids, or simply feeling better throughout your day.

Performance is personal, and so is the way you train for it.

Ready to take a more personalized approach to your performance? Schedule a curiosity call with PH Performance to get started (phperformancemedina.com).

Most healthcare starts when something is already wrong. Josh wanted to work further upstream.

His career began in surgery and trauma before taking him into critical care.

Those experiences gave him a firsthand look at how differently people can respond to illness, injury, and physical stress, and made him increasingly interested in the factors that can influence health before someone reaches that point.

Training. Nutrition. Sleep. Stress. Body composition. Recovery.

That interest eventually pushed Josh toward a more proactive approach to men’s health.

He pursued additional education in male hormone optimization, became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and dove deep into evidence-based nutrition science, performance training principles, sleep physiology, and mental health strategies.

Today, he works with men who don't just want to avoid disease.

They want more energy. More strength. Better performance. And a body that keeps working for them as they get older.

Josh was getting stronger. But he wasn’t necessarily feeling healthier.

Collegiate soccer and powerlifting taught him discipline, consistency, and what it takes to perform at a high level. But as powerlifting became a single-minded pursuit, he started noticing the trade-offs.

That realization pushed him to broaden his approach to movement, nutrition, and overall health.

The result? More energy, better mood, greater resilience + a new perspective on what it means to perform well for the long term.

That experience continues to shape the way Josh approaches Men’s Health & Performance Medicine today.

Meet Josh Kwasnicka, PA-C, ABAAHP, CSCS.

Josh is the Men’s Health & Performance Specialist at PH Performance.

His interest in performance started long before his career in medicine. Josh played collegiate soccer, competed in powerlifting, and has spent years learning firsthand what it takes to get stronger, recover well, and perform at a high level.

Today, you’ll find him lifting, training for HYROX, mountain biking, and staying active with his family.

Now, as a husband and father, his definition of performance has continued to evolve.

To Josh, it’s not just about what you can lift or how hard you can train. It’s about having the strength, energy, and health to keep doing the things you want to do for years to come. It’s about being able to show up for your family and loved ones.

At PH Performance, Josh works with men who want to take a more proactive approach to their health.

💥 Recovery isn’t always about what you can add.

It’s easy to think better recovery means adding another tool, treatment, or task to your routine. And while several of those things can be helpful, sometimes the bigger opportunity is asking: What can I remove?

Creating space for sleep, rest, and even “doing nothing” is part of the performance process, not a setback.
