Mark your calendars for this Thursday (August 6) for a special Teddy Bear Clinic that is open to the public. We're inviting children of all ages to bring their stuffed friends to Medina Memorial Hospital for wellness checks that will take them through different departments.

The event runs from 10AM to no later than 11:30AM.

Our Wound Care team was recently recognized by the Orleans County Legislature for receiving the 2025 designation of a 'Center of Distinction.' Congratulations to the entire team for their continuous efforts as they care for the community.

Free Event for Children!

Join us on Thursday, August 6 at 10AM for an open Teddy Bear Clinic. This is an event we run during the school year - typically for pre-K and Kindergarten aged children. In addition to that, we're holding an open one for anyone who might want to experience the fun.

We all know a visit to the hospital can be stressful and event scary for children. This is a way to comfort any of those fears and make this a familiar place for them. Grab your favorite stuffed friend and join us on August 6.

We had a great weekend in the community! Friday was our 2nd Family Fun Friday. A special thanks to Hometown Wellness Center (Children's Yoga), Lee-Whedon Memorial Library, the YMCA, and Community Action for all taking part. Then on Saturday, some of our team attended the Barker Corn Festival and had a great time.

Thank you to everyone who we spoke to over the weekend and helped make both of these events possible.
