It is World Stroke Day.

A stroke can change someone's life in an instant. However, recovery does not end when a patient leaves the hospital.
Many people need ongoing support as they work to regain strength, mobility, communication, and independence. The right care can make an important difference during this journey.

Today, we’re celebrating the occupational therapists who help people regain confidence and independence in their everyday lives.
