Meet Betina Cress, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern — and one of the only couples therapists in Melbourne offering Saturday and Sunday sessions.

Betina isn’t new to Bella. She completed her graduate practicum and internship right here with our team, and when she graduated, she chose to stay. We got to watch her clinical skill develop firsthand for a over a year before inviting her to join us — and that’s exactly the kind of vetting we want behind every clinician who sits across from our clients.

Before Tina became a therapist, she spent
years teaching in a research school for children with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia. Watching kids fight to learn — and watching their families absorb that struggle — is what sent her back to school for her master’s in Professional Counseling at Liberty University.

That classroom background is still her edge. Tina specializes in young children (through 7th grade) but also works with adults, and she’s not guessing at how kids with learning differences think — she taught them.
