Way Forward Counseling provides therapy for adults navigating ongoing stress and major life transitions. I work with individuals in addiction recovery, those experiencing relationship separation or co-parenting stress, and parents facing ongoing parenting challenges. My approach is supportive, practical, and down-to-earth, focusing on real-life coping skills, emotional regulation, and helping clients feel more steady and confident as they move forward.

Anxiety often shows up as worry about conversations we haven’t had yet.
What we imagine will happen is often much worse than what actually does. Anxiety tries to protect us by preparing for the worst but in doing so, it can make these moments feel bigger and scarier than they are. With practice and support, these conversations can feel more manageable. You’re not weak for feeling anxious. It means something matters to you.
