Heather is a top-notch sonographer who graduated with honors from WKCTC's sonography program in 2022 and was immediately drawn to working with vascular patients. Heather values getting to know her patients and loves the role she plays in helping them to live their best lives.

June is Men’s Health Awareness Month. PAD affects both men and women equally, but often men take more time before seeing a doctor. Knowing the symptoms of peripheral artery disease as well as your risk factors (high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, a history of smoking) enables you to take action earlier. The earlier PAD is diagnosed, the more options for management and treatment are available to the patient. If you are over 50 with risk factors and/or symptoms of PAD, make an appointment for a vascular screening.

So many fabulous changes at Southern Vascular and Foot Rescue. We are expanding. Our newest locations are now open in Batesville and Olive Branch, Mississippi. We have a new doctor, Dr. Omar Davis, joining the team.

And, of course, we have a new name and logo to announce our focus on rescuing feet from PAD-related amputations in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Patient PAD education and access to care are at the forefront of our mission at Southern Vascular and Foot Rescue. In this CBS TV appearance, Dr. Thomas Hodgkiss announces our name change to Southern Vascular and Foot Rescue and our two newest locations in Batesville and Olive Branch, MS. He also reminds patients of the most common symptoms of peripheral artery disease and encourages all patients with these symptoms to reach out for a complete vascular evaluation.

Dr. Thomas Hodgkiss was in-studio today with two of our favorite Memphis-area TV stations, talking about our new Southern Vascular and Foot Rescue brand and our newly opened clinic and treatment center in Panola Medical Center in Batesville, MS.

Look for us on ABC WREG's Live at 9 next Tuesday at 9 am. The Fox 13 segment is scheduled for early June.
