Help us Get Out the Vote in Tennessee, y'all! 🍂 ☎️

Tennessee's voter turnout is historically low, and this election is crucial to protecting our reproductive freedom. So we're hitting the phones every Thursday until Election Day for a lunchtime phone bank to get those turnout numbers up!

Join us starting on Thursday September 3rd at 12:00pm CT/1:00pm ET. We'll meet on Zoom, and calls can be made from anywhere in the state.

We will also be celebrating Planned Parenthood's East TN history with posted fun facts at the event. We're remembering past fights for women's rights while continuing the current fight!

💡 Did you know that Memphis has the 2nd highest rate of new HIV diagnoses in the U.S., with Black women making up 57% of cases among cisgender women?

To change that, Planned Parenthood's Education team is launching Shop Chats—a new training program rooted in Black health equity and culturally-informed intervention.

Shop Chats will equip Memphis' Black salon owners and stylists with the tools to educate their clients about PrEP and HIV prevention in an environment where conversation happens naturally, with the ultimate goal of decreasing HIV diagnoses among Black women, girls, trans, and non-binary individuals in the Memphis area.
